The Swartz Creek Idol Contest :High School tryouts are on Thursday May 29th, 7:30 pm.
Elementary tryouts are on Friday May 30th, 5:00 pm.
Middle School tryouts are on Friday May 30th, 7:00 pm.
The Finals are on Saturday May 31st 6:30 pm.
Open Mike tryouts and finals are all in one competition on Saturday May 31st, 4:00 pm
Anyone can participate in the contest. If you are looking for some interesting live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights you need to look in the kid's zone tent sponsored by Sage Link where contestants show off their talent. They would love your support. The Swartz Creek Idol contest is sponsored by SageLink Credit Union. The prizes are 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $25, and 3rd place $20. There are four categories: 1) Swartz Creek Elementary, 2) Swartz Creek Middle, 3)Swartz Creek High School, and 4) Open to all (not open to you if you are in any other category). Entries are limited and are allowed in order turned in. All entries must be received by 1:00 PM Saturday May 24th. You can enter online under forms at hometowndays.org or at SageLink Credit Union 9189 Miller Road Swartz Creek. You must supply your own karaoke CD. All tryouts and competitions will be held at the Swartz Creek Hometown Days Kids Zone.
